What's new!
CONVERSATIONS. Initiate a conversation with "Hello [NPC]". During conversations, you can "ask" "tell" "give" or "show" a subject. End conversations with "Goodbye". NPCs can be either helpful or unhelpful. The information they give may change depending on that. Additionally, subjects are based on knowledge, so you can't ask about a thing you haven't heard of or seen.
DISASTERS. There are three new disasters. Also, both the monkey wrench and steel wrench will work to fix the air filtration unit (Though they can no longer be weapons). Rising water will be accompanied by a short text blurb.
SPAWNING SYSTEM. You will now begin the game as a random class. Accompanying this  change is a new AI system. Disasters will increment the Alert Level. NPCs will change their course depending on this.

  1. I've spawned as janitor and captain few times. As far as I know there aren't any doors I can open to exit those rooms

  3. Is there a possibility that you could add the map into the game itself?

    Just one that shows your position in the base. It'd make it easier for when you start playing for the first time..

  4. Here's a kicker, I spawned as doctor I went to the engineer's room and found "accusatory note". Upon trying to take the note I got this:

    *** Run-time problem P60: Attempt to set a variable to the wrong kind of object: you wrote 'now the Way is the best route from the CurrentRoom to the Destination of the Bog, using even locked door', which sets the value to nothing - but that doesn't have the kind 'direction'.

    [Your score has just gone up by one point.]

    I think that may be a problem... Because now I can't give Gabriel the note and he keeps muttering about being in the middle of some calibrations..

  8. Hey everyone. I'll answer inquires in order:

    First, there aren't any doors to open from the janitor and captain's rooms. Just go in the direction you want, which should be ne and nw, respectively.

    The map will be added with the graphics. I'm not sure how soon that will be, I'll post as soon as I know.

    The P60 error won't stop any of your actions. It's obtrusive, but you still got the note.
    The diver goes to the garage, the doctor to the med bay, the janitor wanders around, the cook goes to the kitchen, and the captain heads to heart of the station. They usually eat breakfast first though. Only the captain and doctor have "keys"; I'm still working on those.

    Thanks for the info. Didn't realize there were grammar bugs as well. I'll fix it.
